Ladies Who

A project supported by the In Good Company Artist Support Bursary and a collaboration between Beth Kapila and Laura Ryder.

Initially brought together by the East Meets West devising lab run by Gareth Nicholls of Little Earthquake, Beth and Laura quickly realised that they wanted to work together to create a performance.

The project looks at the ideas of women and fighting, examining the ways that different women fight for social change and exploring this through the physical world of wrestling.

The project is currently in it’s Research and Development phase, and we will be resuming practical work on the project once the coronavirus crisis has calmed down.
