Arts Connect are supporting me to carry out Research and Development through their THRIVE R&D bursary for West Midlands artists.

From September 2020 til July 2021 I will be researching and developing a programme around the education of young people on healthy positive relationships. Researching with schools and youth organisations in Birmingham, I will be scoping out what young people require from their education on healthy relationships in Birmingham.

The research is to be used to develop a programme to create audio dramas with young people on the issues important to them. This could include coming out, setting boundaries, recognising emotional or physical abuse, trust. These plays will develop into a database that young people can access in their own time.
